Kristi Grassi is a Canadian painter and multidisciplinary designer. She draws influence from her Ukrainian grandmother who taught her to oil paint in the basement of her Saskatchewan home when she was 8 years old. Her grandmother, or Baba, as they call her was a talented artist, gardener, and craftswoman. The skills she passed on, helped Kristi develop ways of seeing and a painterly intuition from an early age. She currently lives in Montreal, QC with her husband and daughter.
