Kristi is a contemporary, figurative painter from Salt Spring Island, BC
Kristi Grassi is a figurative observational painter. She draws influence from her grandmother who taught her to oil paint in the basement of her Saskatchewan home when she was a young child. Her Baba, as they call her, was a talented artist and craftswoman. The skills she passed on, helped Kristi develop ways of seeing and a painterly intuition from an early age.
She currently lives in the gulf islands, BC with her husband and daughter.
